Gardnerville 100 - Ride and BBQ

Time: Riders roll at 8:00 AM
The Route: The route will be the same as always: Gardnerville to Topaz Lake via Hwy 395, Topaz to Markleeville via Monitor Pass, Markleeville to Woodfords. At Woodfords, you can choose the 72 mile option, and head right back to Keith's house, OR the 107 mile route, which continues from Woodfords to South Lake Tahoe via Woodfords Canyon, Luther Pass Hwy 88 to 89 to Pioneer Trail to Kingsbury Grade Hwy 207 and back to Keith's house via Foothill Road to Fredericksburg.
Support: SAG will be available in a couple places along the way (top of Monitor and top of Luther), but you should carry money for the various convenient store stops. Then enjoy a barbecue at Keith's house after the ride.
Signups: Limited to 80 riders, so sign up by calling 775-782-7077 during business hours, or email Keith Hart at BartHart99@aol.com. Let Keith know if you've invited any non-riding club members to the BBQ so he can plan enough food for all.
Cost: The ride is free to any Alta Alpina Cycling Club member. If you are not yet a member, just join the club prior to the event and ride for free.
Directions to the Start:
From Minden/Gardnerville, take
Hwy 88 south 6.5 miles.
Turn RIGHT on Fairview Lane. Go 0.8 miles.
Turn
LEFT on Fredricksburg Rd. Go 0.6 miles.
Turn RIGHT on Parman Ct. Keith house
is 769 Parman Ct, on the corner.
Important: The start is in a residential neighborhood, so please be courteous and quiet in the morning, and consider carpooling or riding to the start.
